Clash erupts in West Bengal after arrest of Arabul Islam

North Kashipur police station had arrested Arabul Islam from Arabul's house on Thursday afternoon. Arabul Islam was taken out from Lalbazar today and after examination at SSKM hospital, he was taken to Baruipur court. Here, after the arrest of Arabul Islam, there has once again been a clash between the workers of the ruling party Trinamool Congress and ISF in the entire area since Friday morning. The situation became so bad that the police had to resort to lathi charge.

The situation became tense after the party flag was hoisted in Kochpukur in Chaltaberia area of Bhangar on Friday morning. Some Trinamool workers were putting up party flags in the area. The ISF flag was already there. Trinamool workers tore that flag, after which a clash broke out between the workers of the two parties. Police had to deploy Rapid Action Force to stop the violent clash between hundreds of workers of both the parties who had gathered. The situation is still tense.
